I love taking naps, especially at the box. There is nothing better than throwing up my hammock after a long bro sesh and taking a nap (except sushi, doughnuts, and the random dance and sing-offs we’ll have while working out). Yes, I am the defending CrossFit Brigade Dance and Sing-Off Champion.

I grew up in a family of sports and health fanatics. Competing is in our blood! Baseball was my sport of choice growing up. In my early years of high school I did the typical “globo gym” exercises, which quickly became mundane. I found CrossFit in late 2012 when my younger brother showed me a YouTube video of Rich Froning and Dan Bailey performing the Open WOD 12.2. The next day I attempted my first WOD, which was “Kelly”. The phrase “I was hooked” is an understatement. Over the past seven years I have worked relentlessly at improving my knowledge and skills of the CrossFit methodology. Today, I am beyond blessed to be an athlete and coach at CrossFit Brigade (The best box ever). I work alongside the most passionate, generous, and knowledgeable coaches and our goal is to assist individuals in creating a healthier and more active lifestyle. I love helping people and I love CrossFit, so therefore I have the best job ever! I plan to continue to expand my knowledge of this sport, and fitness in general, for the remainder of my life. I have competed in multiple local competitions and throwdowns. My best individual finish was 7th at the 2015 Battle of Bluegrass in Louisville, Kentucky and a 2nd place finish as part of a four-member team at the 2014 Oktoberfest in Knoxville, Tennessee. I have competed at a USAW weightlifting meet and placed 3rd in the 72kg class at a 69kg bodyweight. I love to travel and compete alongside my friends from CFB and meeting other awesome athletes.
I was born in Boise, Idaho and raised in Trenton, Georgia. I graduated in 2013 from Dade Country High School and started college the following semester at Dalton State College. Growing up I played baseball, golf, and ran cross country. Currently, I am starting my third year at Dalton State College and am pursing a degree in Business Management as well as learning to become fluent in Spanish.
