Numerous studies have shown that having a strong support system and a sense of community significantly enhances adherence to a fitness routine and overall well-being. The accountability, encouragement, and shared experiences found within our community can be the driving force that propels you to reach heights you never thought possible. At CrossFit Brigade, you’ll find genuine support and encouragement. Many who gravitate toward Brigade are bonded by the same goal — living the healthiest, fullest life possible. We know nothing good in life comes easy, so for us, our community is what helps us stay motivated and disciplined to keep showing up. 
This is what it’s all about — we are here to do the work.

The Social Fabric of Adherence

Human beings are inherently social creatures, wired to seek connection and interaction. From an evolutionary standpoint, our survival depended on collaboration and mutual assistance. This primal need for connection is deeply embedded in our psyche, influencing our behaviors and decisions, even in modern contexts such as fitness.

Studies reveal that individuals who engage in fitness activities within a supportive community environment are more likely to adhere to their routines over time. The inherent accountability that comes from sharing your goals with peers fosters a sense of commitment. Knowing that others are aware of your aspirations and progress can be a powerful motivator, compelling individuals to maintain their efforts, even when challenges arise.

Our community is more than just a group of individuals working out side by side; it’s a family that celebrates victories, big or small, and lends a helping hand during challenges. When you walk through our doors, you’re not just joining a gym, but a community that is genuinely invested in your success. Our coaches, staff, and fellow members are there to motivate you when you’re feeling low, celebrate your achievements, and provide a sense of camaraderie that can’t be replicated elsewhere.

SOMETHING TO TRY THIS WEEK

  1. Embrace the Team Atmosphere: Approach the workout with an open and positive mindset. Understand that everyone is working together towards a common goal, which is not only to complete the workout but to support and uplift each other.
  2. Introduce Yourself: Take a moment to introduce yourself to someone. Sharing a brief greeting and a few words can break the ice and create a more comfortable atmosphere.
  3. Communicate and Encourage: During the workout, offer words of encouragement, share tips, and celebrate small victories together. Positive communication can enhance the overall experience and motivate everyone involved.
  4. Celebrate Achievements: Whether it’s a first pull-up or a small PR, take time to celebrate these achievements. Acknowledging each other’s efforts creates a positive and supportive environment.
  5. Reflect and Connect After: Once the workout is over, consider initiating a conversation with someone you haven’t gotten to know very well. Share your thoughts on the workout, discuss the challenges you faced, and express appreciation for their support. This can be a great way to forge connections beyond the workout itself.

By actively participating in the community, you’ll not only enhance your physical fitness but also tap into the power of connection that these activities offer. The shared experience of pushing through challenges and celebrating successes can create lasting bonds within the CrossFit Brigade community.

Cost: $499 for the 6 Entire Week Program
 
Dates:
🔥Orientation and Body Scans: Saturday, September 9th 8-9am at CrossFit Brigade, but we are also able to perform these before or after your first week of classes if you prefer to do it then or schedule an appointment at your convenience.

🔥Challenge begins Monday, September 11th.

🔥Weekly Classes are Held:  M-T-TH 6:30am, 9:30am, or 6:15pm with an Optional Saturday Bonus Session @ 9:30am!

 
Upon completion of “Couch to CrossFit,” graduates will be fully ready to enter our regular CrossFit program if they wish to continue their fitness journey at CrossFit Brigade 🙂
